This story fits into the epilogue of "The Time of Destiny" which is REQUIRED READING before you read this, or many things in it won’t make sense to you. This story takes place when Harry’s children are still a bit young for Hogwarts. The chronology of the stories goes: "Time of Destiny" WITHOUT the epilogue; "A Fox’s Tale," "Beginnings" and then the early part of the epilogue. "Hedwig’s Tale" and "A Very Harry Christmas" take place in the "gap" between the first part of the epilogue and the second. "On Second Thoughts" comes much later in the epilogue timeline. Enjoy!

This is one of the ficlets that fit into the Epilogue of "The Time of Destiny." This ficlet is set in the summer after the trio leave Hogwarts. The Weasleys are living at #12 Grimmauld Place at Harry’s invitation while the Burrow is being rebuilt. Harry and Ron are beginning their education in Auror School and beginning their Quidditch careers with the London Lions. Hermione is also living at #12 at Harry’s invitation, because she can’t bear to live in her parents’ home since they died.

Harry Potter returns to Privet Drive for the last time, prior to his Seventh Year at Hogwarts. Much to the Dursley's surprise, Remus is going to stay with him due to a head injury Harry received on the train. The Dursleys are not happy with this situation, as you can well-imagine. This fic covers both the summer before Harry’s seventh year, and his entire last year at school. Canon-based with some OC.
