I was not convinced that this story was going to be enjoyable, and unfortunately that is indeed the case for me. The writing is very good, but what has happened so far is horrible, even for a Harry Potter fic, and that is saying something. There is simply no way that I can accept that Harry would still be remotely functional after losing Sirius and then his first love in such short order.

I must sound like a broken record by now, but you also do a fantastic job with Fred and George. As well as characters, you also have a real flair for believable dialogue. Whenever I try and write dialogue, it all sounds real enough, but all my characters talk like I do, which gets a little tedious.

You also get bonus kudos for having a Ron who's not only a believable teenager, but also one who has moments of intelligence and emotional depths.

The swinging from angst to laughter back to angst again is both touching and realistic, and also incredibly sad.

Speaking of incredibly sad, when one lives in New Zealand, it is quite a lot of effort, and costs a lot in shipping to purchase books over Amazon. So I checked my local internet bookstore, and I found a copy of Star Sons: Dawn of the Two for around $50, which is quite a lot for a paperback book which I will undoubtedly devour within a day or two, especially when I'm a poor unemployed student. So, I'm working on finding a copy of your book, but it's proving tough. I may yet just bite the bullet and use Amazon.

I just LOVE Fred and George!   They're such fun to write!   So's Tonks, actually.   I'm glad you liked what I did with them!

To write dialogue, I actually sit and talk the scene out, believe it or not.   I get the characters talikng inside my head and their voices just emerge on the page - they usually require some editing - Fred and George do like to run away with scenes, as you can imagine (because they're so fun to write).   But that's how I do it.   Dunno if my method would work for anyone else or not but it works for me.

I like the way you made Casey so likable and I can imagine all the reviews you get that about killing her off but on a side note, you could throw a loop at people in the sequel maybe she did not die. After all the ministry is corrupt, as we all know

However, on a side note I really enjoy this story so far and cannot wait to finish it

Huh...I thought I'd already reviewed this...but I guess not. Fantabulous chappie, as usual. I've been looking forward to learning about the glasses ever since they were mentioned in Time of Destiny (is that right? gosh my head is so bad at remembering names...) I'm going to miss Casey now something awful. Blast you. I thought that one girl who reviewed in ToD and always said "I miss Casey" was overreacting, but you really did make a lovable character. Oh! And I wish to commend you b/c Harry is already a lot more mature, more like the "old" Harry. (wink wink nudge nudge)

This is NOT a flamr., but I am very upset that you killed off the Ashers. Casey was probably the best OC I have ever seen Harry paired wirh and I litterally cried when Harry was unable to save them. I wouldn't have minded so much if she had just been injured, but Harry had a great thing going for once instead of the usual crap JKR hands out and I was so happy for him.
