Okay, there were some problems at the other site, so I did some banging around and found it here--at YOUR site. I couldn't review there.

First, let me say that this story is FANTASTIC. You had me laughing, crying, seething, all of that, but not at once. I'd explode.

When Molly went off at Christmas, I bawled--literally. My heart broke for Harry and Ginny. I couldn't believe she did that! That could've KILLED him. I was so PO'd at her, I wanted to strangle her.

Kudos to Arthur and the boys, though. She was wrong and they let her know it in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS. When Dumbledore got after her--OY VAY. I thought he was going to curse her instead of just silence her. I thought the woman had lost her mind.

The tourney was wonderful. Yay, Neville! Woo hoo! I thought the Trevor/Rupert Longbottom thing was just plain CUTE. Do not piss off Augusta Longbottom. And then the old goat flirted with Hermione! Hysterical!

Harry's disappearance after the Pensieve thing scared me, even though I knew he'd be all right, being with Merlin and all. I kind of thought Merlin had taken him to the phoenixes' special place to "fix" him. I'm glad they could.

The attack on Harry really scared me. Of course, I knew he'd pull out of it, but it was horrific all the same. That poor boy. I'm just glad it didn't send him to the edge again. I thought sure Ginny was going to have to shag him right there in the hospital wing to bring him around!

Draco Malfoy--jackass extraordinare. He set those boys on Harry. When is that git going to learn? When is freaking Zabini going to learn? They don't have the power nor the resources to do Harry in. He's too powerful and has too many devoted and loyal friends. When are they going to finally get it through their thick heads that LOVE CONQUERS ALL?

Now...the love scene in the lake. THAT was cool! Made me jealous. It was really beautifully written. This whole story is. Anyway...back to it, then.

You know, I had a really good time writing that stuff about Molly going off on Harry - I think it's very true to her character and she's a GOOD MOTHER, she really is.   But sometimes (like many of us mothers), she has her blinders on and can't recognize that her children are adults, perhaps despite not being adults in age.   Over the years, I've known several young people who were more mature as teenagers than most adults - my daughter was one. Thankfully, she never put me in the position Ginny's put Molly in with a serious boyfriend when she was too young to be that serious!   Right now, I'm friends with two young men who are far more mature than their years - and yet the impish little boy shows up at times too, which is so much fun.   I really love knowing them - they're such fun, and yet wise and intelligent and truly good people.   Both are only children, which I think helped make them more mature than other people their ages.

I'm glad you didn't feel all those emotions at once and explode!!!!   I'd be sad to have splatters of GhostChicken all over the place here!!!!   heehee.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Trevor/Rupert thing!   I had SO much fun with that, and most readers enjoyed it - some gave me a bit of a hard time about it, but that's just their problem.   I sat here and laughed out loud when I thought of it and I had a blast writing it!

Ginny shagging Harry in the hospital wing would certainly go a long way toward getting him out of there quickly, wouldn't it?   LOL!   I'm glad you enjoyed all that stuff!

that love scene in the lake made me jealous too - I would SO love to be able to grow gills like that!!!   Glad you enjoyed it!   Thanks for the fun reviews!

Excellent work keeping this story going. I like the way you maintain the same tone throughout the piece, even when you have written something longer than most published novels. I would definitely consider writing your own original stuff and seeing how far you can go with it. based on what you've written so far you should make some money at it.

Another wonderful chapter abraxan, I like how Harry let Hermione know what she said and did when he was out of it, and the Giant Squid dunking the Puffs for attacking Harry, GREAT!!.

I can see the story drawing to a close, I cant wait to see what you come up with next.

Ah, what a lovely chapter. The evil refinement is FASCINATING! What a cool idea. Will it work on all evil stuff? How will he test it?

That lake scene was amazing too...I bet it's beautiful down there...

We find out the squid's name (Sebastian) and we learn that pissing the squid off is a VERY bad idea! Four students are headed to Azkaban (three for life) for attempted murder. We get a very good idea of what a truly upset Ron Weasley is like, as well. (He kept his temper, but just barely.)

nice idea ...... kissing with gill would be more difficult though ... you need more quantity of water than air to get equal amount of oxygen and that means breathing in or sucking in larger volume of water so that would make kissing a bit difficult. ever seen a goldfish ... it never stops !! .... cheers on the refining idea though. i dont think a girl will appreciate being called a magpie ... but what do i know i'm a guy!!
