Nice chapter. I like the fact that Harry pretty much scared the piss out of Thayne. Wedding next! I'm such a sap, I know.
Happy Writing!

Having Filch hanging by his thumbs in the dungeon seems poetic. Of course Harry and Albus would never do that but Ginny might. On the other hand maybe Harry should donate some of his dreams to the three members of the board. Thanks for the fine chapter. W.
Abraxan replied:
Yeah, Harry donating his dreams to those three (well four, plus Filch) WOULD be "justice," wouldn't it?? Too bad it won't happen. Great idea, though! Glad you enjoyed the chapter!

Another great chapter! I loved the game and the party! Here's hoping that those idiots on the board get their well deserved reward! I still think that they have taken this whole thing much to far in Harry's case, and that malice lies behind it. It wouldn't suprise me if it wasn't some nit who either liked power plays or worshipped Voldy. Then again, it might just be a person or group of people who likes to meddle. I think Harry should give an interveiw with a reputaple reporter, after all, it's unlikely that whoever's behind this will stop with him. Many thanks for the chapter!
Abraxan replied:
Glad you enjoyed it! I doubt Harry would want to talk to a reporter about this one, though. It would be too easy to slip and say something he might regret later (like the fact that he and Ginny are already married!!!). LOL!
Thanks for writing!Abraxan

Hi, Once again you show your genius at story crafting. Your potrayal of Harry in a flash back episode strikes such a real note. I never trained to handle this type of episode in my psych classes but did have to deal with this syndrom in my Husband as he was a victim of Vietnam and had several of these type of episodes so I learned to handle them. You make it so real that it is easy to "suspend reality" and believe that Harry is a real person instead of a character in a book or movie.
Abraxan replied:
First. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with PTSD with your husband. My father had it after WWII, so I saw some of it firsthand. To me, Harry IS a real person, so I'm glad he seems so real to you! Thank you so much for the wonderful review!

I wondered if Harry was Going to be in trouble over those kisses with Ginny at the Quidditch match! A howler no less! Leave it to Dumbledore to come up with a loop-hole for Harry! The school still gets the new brooms and Harry still gets to stay "and teach" for the rest of the term. That is great. Of course the "boys" are planning wild things for Harry's bachelor party! Poor Harry. He really didn't need to remember that memory! I think Fred and George have learned a little lesson though. They need to be careful of the pranks they design in the future! I love the part where Ginny says "Harry will love it!" Tiny frothy lace will probably make Harry very happy! The wedding gifts were great! Having a really professional photographer will deffinity make some very good wedding photos. Thanks for writing and I look forward to more. "The Wedding?" I really love this story. pms
Abraxan replied:
Thanks very much for the fun review!
Yeah, isn't it a shame that a celebratory kiss could cause such trouble?! Oh well! And yes, Dumbledore was clever to come up with that loophole! And the twins will really be a lot more careful about pranking Harry in the future! And I'm certain that frothy bit of lace will be enjoyed, too, LOL!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This is great. Well done. Congrats on getting around the 'Harry is/isn't an Employee of Hogwarts' bit! Nicely handled, good old Dumbledore!

Thanks! I had to laugh, so many people thought I'd written myself into a corner! I had a solution to the problem all along! :D Glad you enjoyed it!

Doggone, even at a stag party, things can go wrong it seems, and fun to see how both sides got each other too. Nice to see how Dumbledore got around the rules, but wonder what this will mean for the student grades, or is there on for flying?
Abraxan replied:
If they're graded on flying, it isn't part of the OWLs. And if they are graded, their grades would be valid because Dumbledore said they would be - he hired Harry and knew he was a volunteer teacher, so I'm sure he set things up properly so the kids would get whatever credit they're due. Glad you enjoyed the parties!

Ooh I did not like iguana Harry. Not exactly the most stress free start to a stag party LOL.
I reckon once Harry thinks about it, he'll appreciate Trent's gift for far more than the monetary value. Privacy for an event like Harry and Ginny's is very hard to come by.
Great chapter.
Liz :)
Abraxan replied:
Yup, Trent's gift is really a great one - privacy is something Harry values a great deal, and it's good of Trent to realize that.
You didn't like Iguana!Harry? Neither did he!!
Glad you enjoyed the chapter!Abraxan

Was there really any point in Harry having an adverse reaction to the twins' prank? This chapter could have gone on in a prefectly enjoyable light-hearted manner without it. The whole thing seems out of place to me. Or, the twins' prank could have gone to plan and you could have written all sorts of fun scenes with lizard Harry and friends. I just don't think that scene worked as written.
Abraxan replied:
Yes, there was a point to it - it was a flashback, because Harry STILL has PTSD, although it's improving since he and Ginny secretly married. PTSD shows up at unexpected times, triggered by the most innocent things sometimes - that's reality, and I'm illustrating that reality in this story.

Wow! Up and down and all around, in one chapter!!! Now, I'm trying to visualize Harry in a thong with a pink flower, with a purple spangled tutu over it ... nope! I don't think so!
Abraxan replied:
LOL! I think the tutu was for Ginny - maybe! ROTFL! Glad you enjoyed the chapter!

*laughs* 'Twould seem that the Board of Governors is in for a rather rude awakening when they find out that they can't fire a volunteer and that Harry's not getting paid. The frustration level there should be tappable as a source of power for some time. The two competing parties were interesting and who, and what, showed up at each. Methinks the Twins will/should offer to replace that shirt, even though a Reparo would, I'd think, handle it; it'd just be good manners to do a full replacement. Heh, it'll be interesting for both Harry & Ginny to show each other the presents, and perhaps model appropriate ones, when they have the chance.
Abraxan replied:
Yeah the "modeling session" should be fun - wonder if I should let you guys see it, or let them have their privacy????? Hmmm. LOL!
I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thanks for the fun review!

Brilliant solution to the problem, but the Board will not like having their petty power ploys thwarted, I suspect.
They will definitely attempt something, even if they have to wait a year or more for it.
The Board should be glad that the Howler was received and played in private - they literally would not survive the response if the fans overheard their antics.
Abraxan replied:
Boy, you're right about the fans' reaction and the Board not surviving it! heehee - maybe I should've had that owl visit Harry sooner, eh??? The results could've been QUITE entertaining! But this story isn't "about" the Board and their attitude - it's about Harry and Ginny, so I'll leave the Board to stew while Harry and Ginny get on with their lives.
Thanks for the fun review!

Nice chapter Abraxan... Are we ever going to find out who snitched on Harry and Ginny? I'm quite interested, to be frank... It's good that Hermione and Ron got that flat that they had been hoping for. They really needed to have a place of their own. Great job!
Abraxan replied:
Thanks! Yes, you'll find out who snitched, and much sooner than you'll see what the ministry did about the house-elves (which is coming, but the wheels of government turn slowly, y'know, so it won't be seen for a while). Glad you liked the chapter!

Nice chapter with Harry and Ginny rising above the pettiness of small minded people! I can see why the Board should be concerned about people who could take advantage of situations similar to Harry's but given their actions it does seem that their motivation has little to do with protection and more with going after Harry personally. Where were these guardians of public morals when Lockhart was around? It wouldn't suprise me if they were getting their personal copies of those books autographed at one of his book signings! The scene at the locker room was cute, and it's good to see the three friends having a chance to enjoy their lives after all the upheval they've gone through! Many thanks for the chapter!
Abraxan replied:
Yup, where WERE they when Lockhart was around? You're right, they were probably getting autographs on every one of his books! Glad you liked the locker room scene - that was great fun to write! Thanks for the nice review!

Nice chappie....I like the fact that Hermione and Ron have finally found a flat, that they can call their own.
I'd be interested to see how long it takes for the gossip to go around about Harry and Ginny's restrictions. It seems that the effect wanted by the complainer didn't come about after all. Be interesting to see if there is any backlash.
:)

Yeah, it's always good when a young couple gets a place of their own so they can start their lives together as a family.
Backlash? I dunno if there will be or not! You'll just have to keep reading to see! Thanks for writing!
