This is really good. I'm glad Harry has Marcus Pomphrey and Remus and Tonks on his side. It will be so much better when Harry and Ginny can get married and they have a life for themselves. I look forward to more of this story. Thanks for adding to your excellent story "Time of Destiny". That is my favorite fan fiction story and I have read a lot of them. pms
Abraxan replied:
Destiny's your favorite fanfic?! COOL! Thanks a lot! I'm so glad you're enjoying this story, too! Yeah, Harry and Ginny are looking forward to getting married and having a life for themselves too! Thanks for writing!

Great chapter Abraxan! Remus and Tonks are going to be great parents... The things they do for Harry are one indication of that. I'm sure Ron and Hermione were glad to get a night without Harry there though... Even though it's for a bad reason. Those nightmares are horrible... I'm glad Marcus could do something for that. Update soon!

I think Harry should sent his 'perscription' to Mr. & Mrs. Weasley as soon as possible. If Harry keeps having these night terrors (worse then nightmares) he need Ginny's help, and he needs it NOW!
Great writing, great story.
I look forward to your next chapter

What can I say, you did it again! You're a wonderful writer, and I'm going to be sure to purchase Star Sons as soon as it comes out and I can afford a book in my budget...
Abraxan replied:
Thanks!! Star Sons is $19.95 plus shipping - and I believe it will be out by the end of January! I'll send out an announcement when it's available!

Hey, I hope to see that book soon! I just looked at amazon.com and it's not listed yet... Maybe you could post a link in here when it is available... It's a paperback so I'm sure it's not going to be to expensive so I'll buy it when it's available if I remember...
I alwas wondered... for a new author like you, did they pay you a set ammount for the book, or do you get paid a certain ammount for each sale?
Abraxan replied:
It isn't on Amazon yet - I'll post a notice and include a message in the chapter I upload the week it becomes available. It's a trade paperback (that means it's a 6" x 9" book, not a small paperback - those are called "mass market paperbacks) and will cost $19.95 plus shipping. I'm getting paid per book - this is a very small publisher, but I was eager to get it out while I'm still young enough to enjoy the process, so I'm happy with the deal. Thankfully, I don't have to make a living with my writing OR my art! It's good to marry an engineer who has a good career and keeps us well-cared for!! :)
Abraxan, who "married well" and is still very happy with her man 37 years later!

good update, Tonks was well writen.
Abraxan replied:
Thanks a lot! I had a lot of fun writing a "maturing, motherly" Tonks who's still giddy and silly at heart. :D Glad you like her!

You know, it's really great that you had Remus and Tonks make it here, because I always thought that it was so unfair that Harry seemed to have anybody connected with his family be killed off in the canon. Intense dreams though, and even with Ginny helping him, Harry is going to need more soon, or he's going to have a bad break with reality before all is said and done.
Abraxan replied:
Yup, I thought it was terribly unfair that Remus and Tonks died in canon. The last Marauder, and Harry barely had a chance to know him. Can you imagine the kind of questions Harry would've liked to ask if there hadn't been a war distracting them??? The kind of stories Remus could've told him? Ah well - I take good care of my dear Harry, and kept his family intact!
Yup, that was a very intense dream! But people with PTSD often have such episodes, so my story is as realistic as I could make it. I think it's important for the readers to see how Harry deals with getting over the war, just as I wanted to see how he got over his grief over Sirius (which led me to write Refiner's Fire in the first place). I think JKR shortchanged the readers on both issues - and on the romance issue as well - but that's JMO.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!

Poor Harry, how will he survive 30 chapters of this? I am enjoying your story. Thanks for writing. W.
Abraxan replied:
He's a strong guy and has a strong woman at his side (well, at a distance, but still supportive!), so he'll manage. Glad you're enjoying it!

A random thought about Toads in Loo. How would one react if one really found a toad in the loo? :D
Abraxan replied:
I don't know about you, but I'd probably jump outta my skin! LOL! I was in a swimming pool once when I was a kid that had frogs all over the floor of the pool! ICK! We didn't swim in there long!!! I don't mind frogs (or toads) in the hand, but in the plumbing? No thanks!! LOL! But Toads in the Loo? They ROCK! heehee

Read the sample chapter of your book. Wow, it's going to be REALLY good. Congratulations!
And this story is going well so far also...
Abraxan replied:
Thanks a lot!!! I'm glad to hear you liked "Star Sons" - and "Now and Forever" as well! Thanks for writing!

Nice set of fics Abraxan. I really like the whole set of them. Even though I'm not an avid reader of H/G fiction (I prefer H/Hr), yours have all been quite enjoyable. The flashbacks from the war have to be really hard on Harry... I feel bad for him. Update soon!!
P.S. Do you know when your book is going to be available for purchase on Amazon? I checked today and it wasn't... I read the sample chapter and it seemed interesting... If you know, thank you!
Abraxan replied:
Thanks so much!!! I wasn't any kind of a shipper when I started writing RF - I just followed JKR's lead, but as I went along, MY Ginny was perfect for Harry, more so than Hermione - too bad JKR didn't develop Ginny's character more fully!
There's been a delay in "Star Sons" release - the original plan was to release it Jan. 7, but now there's about a 3 week delay. I'll post the ordering info as soon as I know it! Thanks for asking!

I think Harrys problems are going to get worse before they get better. I also hope they find out who it was that sent the letters to Ginny.
Thanks for Writing

Abraxan replied:
I think you're right! Harry's problems are gonna get worse! But yeah, they'll do their best to find out who sent the letters to Ginny!
Thanks!

PTSD can be a bitch from what one hears; fortunately I can't speak from personal experience. I am interested in how Harry comes to terms with his memories. Thanks for writing. Good luck with your commercial story. Happy New Year. W.
Abraxan replied:
Yeah, how Harry comes to terms with his memories is the main thrust of this story. Glad you're enjoying it! And my novel will be out SOON! I'm so excited!! Happy New Year to you, too!!

Well poor Ginny. But having Harry as boyfriend isn't always going to be a walk to the park. Even if isn't his fault. Then again, what they have together is more than worth it.
This chapter was really nice. I'm still complaining over the fact that we have to little Harry and Ginny! *pout*. But it was really sweet the fact that he went running to her site *sighs*
Anyway, love the story so far. Keep it up with the good work and Take care.
Abraxan replied:
There will be more "Harry and Ginny" - PLENTY by the time the story's over! Stay tuned! Glad you're enjoying it so far!
