whoa. y'know, I get as much a kick out of reading your authors notes as i do reading the stories. As an aspiring doctor and an avid (if not professionally trained) singer the throat thing is VERY cool to me, as is the chemical stuff. The chapter was great, thrilling, intriguing, sweet, and with the sugar battle at the end (which, by the way, i'm thinking of reproducing with my balcony and the punks in my neighborhood...) funny. Yay!

Love it! I was worried for a split-sec you'd make Snape evil. I am SO sick of people saying he's evil because of HBP. Are people completely incapable of reading between the lines? He's in my top 5 list of fav. characters and definitely my fav. of the profs. As for the chappie, I'm especially impressed by Tommy-boy's new eyes being similar to Harry's because of the blood. Thought that very cool. Worried about Dumbledore being in London, last time that happened it was to get him out of the way in HP and the Phil. stone...And am very curious as to what unfortunate soul lost their eyes.

That is the single most brilliant thing I've ever heard. Way to incorporate a miniscule quirk of the books into an interesting and completely believable idea. *squeals* soneatsoneatsoNEAT! Ok, enough gushing. *swicket!* ok, except that.
oh, sorry. "Swicket" is a made-up word of one of my best friends specifically for (but not limited to) Harry Potter use. It's 'sweet' and 'wicked' morphed together.

So cool. I really loved Peeves and the Creevey brothers. The lack of Peeves always saddens me in the movies, especially because none of the new directors can add him since the first guy didn't *sheds a small tear for his being cut*, and the Creevey bros are adorable!!! (I like that you made them beaters...nifty!) So great chappie.
Oh! And I *know* that you don't go back and edit small mistakes, but I thought this would interest you and you'll know it for future chappies. In the brit novels, 'lemon drops' are called 'sherbert lemons', I have no idea why. But it's cool. (This is the reason I love buying the British version. The french is cool too. In the french, some of the professors have different names. and chocolate frogs=chocogrenouilles and hogwarts=poudlard and various other fun things. and the book isn't called HP and the philosopher's stone, it's called (translated) HP and the Sorcery School. Just FYI)

Ooh...darn it. Why couldn't I and all my friends be British, wizards/witches, and go to Hogwarts? I'd love to use that "plan" on some of my friends...I'd even help them patent it. My grandma's a copyright lawyer!

Believe it or not, I actually knew the word lycanthropy. I was very impressed with its use... :D Ok, well great chapter as per your usual, and I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving if your American and if not, a happy Thursday anywho.

The parts of the D.A. - ground troops, Flying Squad and Healer Squad - are a good idea. But with them open on the Quidditch pitch the DE will know about them and plan their strategy accordingly. Good story!

Harry Potter: He's not only the Boy-Who-Lived, he's also Mediator-Extraordinaire! Go Harry! Ok, that was a good chappie...but I want to slap Hermione around for at least twenty, no better make it thirty minutes. Moron. Sheesh. (I told you Ron's practically identical to my boyfriend? Except Harry is closer in looks...)

ok. totally conflicting reactions on this chapter. so i'll just split them up.
1) Aw!!! That is so cute! Yay Tonks and Lupin! And Yay Winky and Dobby. The Winky and Dobby thing was ADORABLE!!!! *giggles madly at the cuteness of it all*
2)WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HERMIONE??? RON IS THE CUTEST, MOST ADORABLY FLAWED CHARACTER EVER!!! (actually, he's kinda like MY boyfriend...) WHAT is she THINKING??? I may have to kill her...

Between you and your betas, you make one damn fine author. -grin-
Once again an excellent chapter and one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. Keep up the good work.

Ah. Various forms of closure to accompany the variety of cures, huh? Once again, a magnificent chapter. Unfortunately, I've been putting off my chores, but oh well, I'll finish off a few more chapters in two days (my mom would be really irritated if i got on during thanksgiving...)

ah. again, a marvelous chapter. poor Harry, sheesh. so much pain he has to go through... you're an artist? nifty! I've only ever been able to doodle silly cartoons and such, i made an entire Quibbler magazine for a Luna Lovegood costume complete with articles and ads once, but that's about as much as I can do. what kind of things do you make (if you don't mind my asking?)

Love the story so much so far. The part with the wands was really interesting to me. I always thought Mr. Ollivander was cool with his enigmatic tendencies. Oh, I just remembered, I noticed that when Harry explained Quidditch to Petunia a couple chapters ago, he compared it to soccer. I noticed you use British words for the most part, so I thought I'd point it out in case it was a mistake.

Harry needs to get out of the dumps, he keeps getting in those crapy moods and taking it out on everybody. I think he is going to go to Godric's Hollow to get his head back in the game. I await your next update.
