Oh wow. That was amazing. You covered everything didn't you? I absolutely adored the afterword, and I salute you for a very realistic handling of Jamie and Siri's attitudes in their first year of Hogwarts!

Abraxan replied:

Thanks a bunch! I'm so glad you liked it! Yes, Jamie and Siri had very realistic attitudes, I thought. Glad you thought so too! Thanks for writing!

Awesome. Really awesome. You are really one of the best authors I've ever read. In my top three, I think I mentioned that once ago, didn't I? ;-)
Though you seem to like Harry in hospital, I will gladly re-read your fics in some time. (As I already did with RF)

I hope you will grace us with some new fics sometime.

Read over any grammtical errors and so on, please :)

Abraxan replied:

I didn't see any grammatic errors, actually - nothing that caught my eye, anyway! LOL! No worries!

THank you so much for your kind words about my fics! Honestly, I'm not that fond of Harry in the hospital, but he's doing stuff that would kill anyone else - he can't go through such experiences unscathed!! So off to the hospital wing for him! Poor kid, I'm SO hard on him, LOL!

I'm working on an original novel aimed at real publication now. When I need a break from it, I have some HP ficlets planned, based on the "gaps" in the epilogue.

I'm so glad you enjoyed my stories! Thanks for writing!

Sorry for my english, still learning ;)

I usually like the stories when Dumbledore are evil or stupid and Harry takes his life in his own hands but this story are way to good to not like! Very loong (wich i like) and very well written. I have read many many fanfictions and this comes up to my toplist directley. I have followed the story since the middle of "The Fefiners Fire" and I am very happy you finished it :)

By the way, the end was just, well, exellent.

Sincerely,
Albus

Abraxan replied:

Thank you very much! I'm so glad you liked it! I can't get into "evil" or "stupid" Dumbledore because that's just not the character JKR created. I'm glad you liked mine despite Dumbledore being intelligent and wise and still in control of his powers! LOL! Thanks for writing!

AWESOME!

Can't remember if you said you had another to start in the wings or not though... Or were you going to write a book?

Abraxan replied:

I have an original novel already underway. I plan to do some HP short stories when I need a break from my novels, but don't hold your breath - I need to get moving on this novel!! Glad you enjoyed the fics! Thanks for writing!

wow this was a very cheerful chapter!

sorry i haven't reviewed in a while, i've just been reading up a storm!

and now im very sorry to say that i'm almost finished!

noooooo!

i do have a quick question though, when harry's glasses were smashed by the boys who tried to drown him, how did they get fixed? were they only mildly damaged?

thanks for the great work!

i can't wait to finish! well... actually i'd rather not, but you get the idea haha

Abraxan replied:

They weren't smashed - they're unbreakable, thanks to spells put on them by Mr. Verre, who made them. They came off when Harry was being beaten.

Glad you're enjoying the story! Thanks for writing!

I wish I could say something more eloquent but all that will come out, not matter how hard I try, is "WOW."

Refiners and Dentiny are absolutely stunning works and I have loved every single bit of both of them. You are fantastic.

I love how every loose end has been tied up and those who deserved peace finally have eveything and more.

This has honestly got to be... the perfect ending.

Abraxan replied:

You said it so well, "those who deserved peace finally have everything and more" - that's so true!! Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed my stories!

Those are great! Honestly! I'm glad everyone was happy towards the end of their lives. Anyway, can't wait for more Abraxan work!

Abraxan replied:

Thanks a lot! I'm not writing more fanfic for a while - I'm currently working on an original novel aimed at real-life publication. When I need a break from the novel, I have a bunch of short stories planned to fill in the gaps in the epilogue. Thanks for writing!

Just had to have Harry get hurt badly one last time eh? It was a good device to allow you to heal up all of his scars. Thank you for writing for us, I've quite enjoyed your version of the Potterverse.

I fear I will never find the right words to describe how good your stories are and what they have meant to me.

Your writing is the best. It is professional. Your grammar and dialog are so good they're almost un-noticeable. They don't distract from the story and they let the reader get on with other things. The sentence structure is well varied leaving no 'sing song' or repetitive annoyances. All your technical aspects fit together so well they just slide into the background and let the story grab the reader.

And what a story it is. Let's see, at last count there were 987 new and intriguing ideas you had. (Too many to list here. lol)

One of the things I liked was that you treated all the characters with respect. I don't know if this makes much sense, but I never felt that you forced any of the characters. They did what the personalities, you gave them, led them to do. In that respect, it was a very relaxing story.

I read to escape and your writing is a perfect place to hide in. I'm going to re-read both stories in April, after taxes, shudder. I marked it in INK on the calendar.

Thank you again, for sharing so much with us.

Oh, almost forgot, the Epilog where you tell what happened to everyone? That was so nice. It felt great not being left high and dry at the end. Too many authors put the last period down on their story and seem to stop in relief. Your ending was a nice touch.

All your readers should buy Lions t-shirt too.

Last, but far from least. Every chapter I read started off with you thanking your beta crew and I thought about them every time. They did a wonderful job. Even though I'm only sending this to you it applies to all of them too.

Abraxan replied:

Thank you for thanking my betas! They often helped me with sticky places, or pushed me to go deeper or further with the story than I had originally, for which I'm very grateful. Most of them are on board to help me with my original novel, so I'm in a comfortable place, knowing they'll push me to "be all that I can be" and not let me get away with being conservative in my writing, LOL!

Yes, ALL my readers should buy Lions t-shirts!!! Pass the word!!! LOL!

You said so many nice things about my writing - the thing about the "technical" stuff fading away so you could get lost in the story - that's important to me! I'm SO glad you said that! I tried hard to keep the technical aspects interesting yet hidden, so the story flowed well and didn't have any jarring places except where I planted them in the plot, LOL! Thanks a lot for that wonderful comment!

I'm glad you liked the epilogue - I just couldn't leave the story there. *I* wanted to know what happened in the rest of their lives, but I didn't want to write twenty (or more!!) novels of such length to find out! So the epilogue and afterword served that purpose for all of us!

Ooo, I like that you said I treated the characters with respect! I do have the GREATEST respect for all of them but Malfoy and Zabini (and that lack of respect showed, I think! heehee). I wanted whatever they did to flow naturally from their personalities, even when they were "out of character" as when Molly blew up at Harry in ToD Chapter 17 - it was out of her NORMAL character, yes, but it was IN character for who she is and what she is - she just doesn't let that aspect of her personality show if she can avoid it. So thanks for your very astute comment about my respect for my characters. I hadn't thought of it that way, but that's exactly the right word for it.

987 new and intriguing ideas??? Where did you get THAT number??? LOL! Glad you liked them, anyway! heehee. "987. . ." :-D

Thanks VERY much for a really lovely review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story!

And a fine end to a fine story
will we see you again?

Abraxan replied:

Thanks very much! You may see me again when I upload short stories based on this epilogue. Other than that, I'm working on an original novel aimed at real-life publication. When - not *if* (thinking positively here) I have ordering info for it, I'll post it to all the sites that host my stories. It's a hero-quest magical fantasy story similar to Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc. Hopefully a publisher somewhere will like it and want to pay me for my writing!!! I have to try this to be fair to myself.

I'm glad you've enjoyed my stories. Thanks a lot!

I know I haven't reviewed at all during these two novels, and for that I am very sorry. This series was absolutely incredible. Thank you for taking the time to share your world with. Your writing was excellent, your character's were believable...truly a great piece of work.

Great job

I finished reading this last night and had to wait to review. The sense of completion, the sadness and happiness I feel is quit like I think I might feel at the end of JKR's Book Seven - (hoping it's better than HBP).

This was an epic tale. Epic in that at the end of over 900,000 words I was still riveted. Epic as in a modern day fanfic equivalent to the Illiad. Epic in that the hero has been and always will be THE HERO in the time honored grandest sense of the word.

It's sort of like I don't know what to do next. - I know, I'll go write something, and try very hard to not discourage myself comparing my work to yours.

So very and completely well done indeed.

Abraxan replied:

Wow, what a wonderful review! Thank you so much!! Actually, Asad counted and there are over a million words between both stories! YIKES! I had no idea I was writing such long stories - I just followed Harry wherever he led me, and it was ALWAYS interesting and fun! He's a fun guy to follow around, actually. ;->

Wow, I'm re-reading your "epic tale" paragraph - still riveted after a million words - yeah, that IS something! Yikes! And yes, Harry IS "The Hero" in every possible sense of the word! Lyrically said, Aaran!

Thanks for all the wonderful reviews! Keep me on your "fav. authors" list so you'll get notices when I post something else (a HP short story or news about my novels!). Thanks so much for writing!

An altogether excellent story. This last chapter brought tears of sadness and tears of joy. Your abiity to express your imagination is incredible. The words you use manke me feel as if I were actually part of the story and a close friend of the characters by knowing them so intimately. Thank you so much for letting me share your vision.

Abraxan replied:

OOooooo, what a LOVELY review! Thanks so much! Wow, you felt you knew the characters like close friends? That's wonderful, that's what I was after - and that's how I feel about them myself. Thanks so much for the wonderful review, and all the other lovely reviews you've shared with me!
